One point, “The Space Store,” had a giant sculpture of Saturn. Bus stops are fast travel points. Yes, literally bus stops. You can see their icons in the map image above Three different control presets: Classic, Streamlined, Experienced… They could replace the difficulty settings and be more suitable for different styles of play, from the ultra-realistic to the insane arcade of Skate 3. There were also dedicated controls for PC gamers. Two camera options: high and low camera angle. It could be changed instantly by pressing the right stick First time in the Skate series where you can choose to push with the sticks. It can be disabled. You can have Carrera colored griptapes: Similar to Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground. It’s about skating, sharing and being creative. Followers mean something. The “online race” is being prepared as a separate but similar experience. The emotes will return. It’s not a big surprise, as Skate 2 already had emotes long before it became a trend to implement emotes in all games. The players are not dumb. They have a voice, but in the playtest they only said “cheers” and basic things related to emotes. We don’t know if we will have a fully voiced character with his own dialogue in the cutscenes. There will be a homemade skate park. Your “home” or private skate park is essentially the training park you build in the tutorial and from there you have to build the whole thing. You can use this currency to buy clothes and other items such as crafting material Video Editing Confirmed. You can buy frames and stickers for your skate videos. It is tied to different aspects like creating, having fun (skating) and sharing videos and photos. There are no miracle whips, no dark catches, no jumping fingers, at least for now. They will probably be in the final game. Still no trace of the Hall Of Meat mode. We don’t know if it will be added later. The physics of the ragdolls is more ragdolly compared to Skate 3 where the physics of the ragdolls were really stiff. Instead of respawning out of nowhere, you’ll see an animation of the player standing up. You can roll and slide when on foot. There is a kind of spectator mode where you teleport to a clean spot or other players teleport to you. There were about 60 people on the server. The lag smoothed out once the number of players was reached. There was no player collision in the playtest. ‘Own’ and ‘Kill’ points are back and extended with ‘Shutdown’ The game feels slightly faster than Skate 3 in terms of poke speed and overall speed. But don’t worry about realism. Going too fast will make it incredibly difficult to control your board Realistic audio, such as traffic noises and birdsong, has already been implemented. Estimated release date for Halloween, due to the presence of many cosmetics of said festivity. The question is whether it will arrive in 2022 or in 2023 (the latter seems more likely).
