The monster collecting game Coromon will be released for Nintendo Switch on July 21st. The PC version has been available since March 31st, but Nintendo fans had to have one short-term postponement to take note of. Problems with the online features and cross-play arose during the porting.
Developer TRAGsoft and publisher Freedom Games attach great importance to these online features. The PvP component is an important feature for the post-game. In addition to the cross-play mentioned, various seasons and eSports events are also planned.
Coromon combines monster collecting with pixelation – just like many games have done. Coromon also puts JRPG elements in the foreground. “Experience an extensive, fascinating storyline, face off against powerful bosses and use puzzles to find your way through varied dungeons,” they promise.
You take on the role of an ambitious researcher who joins the technologically advanced organization Lux Solis. There you will be assigned to a special team, the Titans Task Force, and given the task of researching the six Titans residing in the Velua region.
However, you soon encounter alien forces that threaten the world with a mysterious type of elemental. Put an end to their hustle and bustle! By the way, Coromon offers German texts.
