Again, we bring a message that has been published recently and is related to one of the most outstanding titles in the catalog available on the hybrid console. This time we are talking about Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion.
Apparently the executive producer of the game, Yoshinori Kitase, has confirmed one of the main objectives of this title. He affirms that with him they hope to attract new fans.
We leave you with his words to Eurogamer:
If you played Remake, or the original, you probably know that Zack is in the first Remake game where he doesn’t appear at that point in the story in the original Final Fantasy VII. So he appears more than he was. We thought that the people who were starting the story would really want to know more about this character.
There are obviously gaps between the main titles, I think in the end there are three years between Remake Part One and Rebirth, so in order to give fans the opportunity to see more of Final Fantasy VII and experience the universe again in those gaps, we wanted to release more games in this direction.
There is no real requirement that we have to align with the Remak series. It is not decided by series, basically each individual title will be evaluated for what we think will be the best platform and the best audience. we wanted to expand [la audiencia] and allow as many people around the world as possible to play this game on any platform.
What do you think? Do not hesitate to leave it in the comments. Finally, you can also find our full coverage of this game ahead of its release in Winter 2022 here.
