From September 15th to 18th, 2022, the gaming world will once again come together at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba. We have known the key data for the Tokyo Game Show 2022 since the end of last year’s fair.
The organizer Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association has now published the key artwork. It was designed by Kukka and dedicated to this year’s motto “Nothing Stops Gaming”.
So far, 465 exhibitors have confirmed and the organizers are expecting 150,000 visitors. 583 projects applied for the Indie Game Area. Of these, 81 have now been selected, which may exhibit free of charge.
Physically on site for the first time in three years
While the last two trade fairs were a digital event for visitors due to the pandemic, an on-site trade fair for everyone is planned again this year. September 15th and 16th are the business days, September 17th and 18th are for the interested public. Official live streams with English translation will also be offered, as well as demos that you can play at home.
