We all have different ways of living the experiences in our beloved video games, regardless of their mechanics and how the developers themselves suggest they should be played.
And seeking to define these different types of gamers, the research company Quantic Foundry, developed a scientific test to create profiles of PC or console gamers, covering titles ranging from Free Fire to God of War.
The test has been created after several studies and more than 500 thousand results collected since 2015, looking for these types of “gamer motivation”, through a questionnaire that can be done on the official Quantic Foundry website.
Depending on the answers chosen, the results delivered by this test can range from ending up being defined as “Acrobat”, who are solo players who enjoy a challenging game, “Gardener”, a definition for those who seek calmer experiences and meet chores; or even “Bardo”, players looking for social experiences and participating in group adventures.
You can check what type of gamer you are, according to the Quantic Foundry profiles, by answering their test (in English) at this link.
