As if it were a jawa in Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope, the man pushed a cart with the droid inside it through the facilities of the hotel Swan Reserve last May. The hotel is owned by Marriott, but is within the Disney World Resort complex.

As he displayed erratic behavior, security employees reported it to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. The authorities appeared at the hotel a few minutes later.
The man claimed to be a Disney employee, and said he couldn’t find the changing rooms. The agents gave him a tour of Burbank until they asked for his documentation, which led to the confirmation that no Disney employee responded to the subject’s name.
The man’s confession explained that he had tried to apply for a job with Disney security, and that was stealing objects to demonstrate vulnerabilities.
Items found included a towel rack and various lighting fixtures. He has been linked to the man with thefts at Fort Wilderness, the Boardwalk resorts and the Grand Floridian, all owned by the House of Mouse.
The individual is currently being held in a California jail on charges of planning to robbery, grand theft, burglary of structures, tampering with a coin machine and obstruction by false information.
