WASHINGTON, JUN 22 – Uvalde School District Police Chief Pedro Arredondo was put on leave as part of the investigation into the police response to the massacre at the elementary school in the Texas town that saw the massacre of 19 children and two teachers . Arredondo was leading the agents who arrived at Robb Elementary minutes after the killer. He and his men are accused of a series of grave errors, “a despicable failure” as the head of the Texas Police Department called it. (HANDLE).
