The central defender was born in Montevideo on September 10, 1999. The footballer left the basic forces of Montevideo Wanderers, a club in which he played just 27 games in the highest category.
Bruno Méndez left Uruguayan soccer at the beginning of 2019 heading to Brazil. The young defender was signed by Corinthians, a team with which he played 38 games. In mid-2021 he was loaned to Internacional de Porto Alegre, where he has found the best version of himself and played 47 games.

In Inter de Porto Alegre they were delighted with the performance of the central Uruguayan and made an economic effort to buy his letter, but they could not reach an agreement with the Corinthians board.
