(ANSA-AFP) – ROME, JUN 22 – At least 300 deaths were caused in Afghanistan by the violent earthquake that struck the south-east of the country last night, on the border with Pakistan: the Afghan supreme leader, Hibatullah Akhundzada announced this . So far the injured, he added, are more than 500 and “hundreds of houses have been destroyed”. The death toll is set to rise, Akhundzada stressed. (ANSA-AFP).
