Have you ever noticed that the appearance and texture of your skin changes depending on your eating habits? Well, there are several nutrients that have the power to fight inflammation and help make the skin radiant.
Many compounds help to cleanse the skin, reducing fluid retention, improving circulation and reducing inflammation. With this, you can see skin with less cellulite and pimples, with a smoother texture and even fewer pores.
It is good to remember that, for all this to work, you need to drink water, as it favors cellular exchanges, the transport of nutrients and the elimination of toxins in the urine. The ideal is to ingest around 30 ml of water per kilo of weight, that is, a person weighing 70 kg should ingest around 2,100 ml per day.
Now check out some foods that are worth appearing every week on your menu:

Watermelon: It has diuretic action and favors the lymphatic system. In addition, it contains potassium, which will help to deflate. The ideal is to consume the fruit until 4 pm, so it doesn’t disturb your night’s sleep, as you tend to go to the bathroom more when consuming it. A good option is to eat it for a morning snack and an afternoon snack. When buying at the market, leave it cut into cubes for up to 4 days in a closed pot inside the fridge, that way it is always ready to be consumed.

Brazil nut: It is a source of selenium and vitamin E, which help to combat premature aging of cells. As it is an oilseed, it is a source of good fats, so it is perfect to combine it with watermelon at snack time. Two units a day is enough to have the amount of selenium you need. Many people find it difficult to consume just two a day, so the suggestion is to put it in those pill holders with a separation of the day of the week, that way you see the chestnut as a supplement and don’t exaggerate the portion.

Pineapple: contains bromelain, an enzyme that, in addition to facilitating digestion, has a diuretic and anti-inflammatory action. It is excellent to be consumed for dessert after dinner, as it facilitates the digestion of meal proteins and even helps with the quality of sleep, as you avoid going to sleep with that food stuck in your stomach. A tip to make the pineapple with a special flavor is to add lemon zest and cinnamon powder. It looks like dessert.

Legumes: in this group we have all kinds of beans, lentils, chickpeas, peas and soy. They are rich in protein, which helps to support the skin, and are sources of iron, which helps in the transport of oxygen through the blood. A well-oxygenated skin has a natural glow and even helps to reduce pores. In the cold, a suggestion is to include these grains in soups. Just remember to soak them for 12 to 24 hours in water with a tablespoon of vinegar or lemon, so you can even better absorb the nutrients from the legume and facilitate the digestion of protein.

Litter: is rich in pectin, a fiber that helps in the proper functioning of the intestine, eliminating impurities. The ideal is always to consume the apple with the skin and with some source of good fat, such as peanut butter, for example. This avoids that empty stomach feeling that some people get after eating the fruit.

Omega 3: good sources are fish like sardines, salmon and cod or seeds like chia and flaxseed. Omega 3 improves blood circulation and helps fight inflammatory reactions. So people with a lot of acne or cellulite benefit a lot from the daily consumption of these foods.
As it is not always possible to eat fish every day, the solution is to use the seeds, which can be added on top of salad or fruit. Flaxseed is interesting to consume crushed. A suggestion is to make a special salt, just hit a spoon (soup) of flaxseed with a spoon (soup) of sesame and a spoon (soup) of salt in the processor. Place this mixture in a closed container in the fridge and consume within a week in place of salt, to season the salad.

Probiotics: present in kombucha and kefir, probiotics favor a good functioning of the intestine, which is essential for the elimination of impurities. When we get the gut stuck, it’s very common to appear pimples and blackheads and increase skin oil, so focus on the daily functioning of the intestine with a supply of probiotics. The good thing is that the volume doesn’t have to be large: 150 ml of kombucha or kefir a day is enough to help the intestines.

Oat: it is rich in fibers and has silicon, which participates in the formation of collagen. A simple way to add oatmeal is in the form of overnight oat. To make it is very simple: before bed, mix oatmeal with milk or vegetable drink and chopped fruits in a pot; leave it in the fridge and the next morning the oatmeal will have absorbed all the liquid. You can consume it as is or accompany this mixture with natural yogurt and a drizzle of honey or cane molasses.
