The two have a budget of no less than 7 tons, but there is also a nice wish list. They are looking for a house where the most important thing is the garden and the peace and quiet. They want at least three bedrooms, a detached house and a tennis club or gym nearby. And all this in the vicinity of Alkmaar and Amsterdam, which of course does not make the search any easier. “I have the idea that they think a bit broadly”, Natasja Froger tells the brokers with concern.
Fortunately, brokers Debby and Vinod manage to find them four nice homes in no time. Remarkably enough, they choose to stay in the last house for a week. This house is not detached and is located in a village where they would not be so quick to look themselves, but they are immediately in love with the house. Andreas does not know what he sees: “I feel bottled up”, he stammers after viewing the house. It seems too good to be true. Especially when it later turns out that there is another tennis club right next to the house.
Even after the week’s stay, the two are still very enthusiastic, there is only one small problem: they are not the only ones who want to buy the house. Several bids have already been made, which means that they have to make an offer quickly. The couple decides to offer 540,000 and that turns out to be a bull’s eye: Natasja comes to visit them with good news: they have the house.
