Yet another white death in Italy. A accident at work in Aprilia, in the province of Latina, in Lazio, caused the death of a 32-year-old boy. The young man is dead crushed by the forklift. Simone Tavaglione unfortunately lost his life: the attempts of the rescuers to save his life were useless. There was nothing for him to do.
The tragedy took place last Saturday afternoon in Aprilia. The 32-year-old worker was driving the forklift which suddenly overturned and hit hard Simone Tavaglione, which got squeezed under the middle. Colleagues tried to save him, but to no avail.
The accident took place at the Sacchi Pallets company, located at km 49 of the Pontina, in the Aprilia area. The boy from Nettuno worked in a team of four workers for a company specializing in industrial cleaning. They were cleaning during a break in the work of the company that makes pallets.
Colleagues called 118 and tried to save him, immediately removing the vehicle from his body. But unfortunately for Simone Tavaglione there was nothing to be done. On the spot of the accident at work, in addition to the health workers, also the Carabinieri of the Aprilia station, with the lieutenant Michele Piccione.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office has already opened an investigation into the incident, while the prosecutor Andrea D’Angeli has ordered the seizure of the forklift that killed the young man. The Carabinieri have yet to reconstruct the exact dynamics of the accident.

According to the testimonies of those present, the forklift was not loaded when it suddenly overturned to the left. The 32-year-old ended up on the ground, crushed at the height of the neck by the pillar of the canopy.
