It is clear that Hanover was anything but satisfied with the performance last season. Now 96 has identified a list of players who are expected to leave the club this summer.
Hanover’s sports director, Marcus Mann, recently commented in the Daily newspaper New press to the squad of the Reds and further planning. “We’re still too big,” Mann said of the composition of the team.
Before the start of the season on July 15th on the Betzenberg, there should still be a lot of movement in the team. Several players should leave Hanover. According to the newspaper, the actors concerned have already been informed.
Among other things, should Martin Hansen, Lukas Hinterseer and Get Ondoua leave the club.
Hansen was in the Reds 13 times last season and kept four clean sheets. However, the Dane cannot get past Ron-Robert Zieler. In addition, Leo Weinkauf is returning from his loan in Duisburg. Along with new signing Toni Stahl from Energie Cottbus, there are two young goalkeepers in the squad, so there is no longer room for 32-year-old Hansen.
The same applies to Hinterseer. The Austrian played 16 games for 96 last season. He was able to set up two goals in these games. With Havard Nielsen, who was brought from Fürth on a free transfer, there is already a successor for the 31-year-old Hinterseer.
Ondoua should also leave Lower Saxony after just one season. The Cameroonian appeared in 27 games for the Reds, but was rarely able to impress. In the position of the 26-year-old, those responsible at Hanover have already signed fresh blood. Fabian Kunze from Bielefeld and Eric Uhlmann from Leipzig could be piloted to the Maschsee free of charge.
Both Hansen and Hinterseer as well as Ondoua still have a contract until 2023 in Hanover. The club could probably only generate a larger transfer fee with Ondoua. It remains to be seen where the three players will go.
