Imperia – After the night attack in Diano Marina, too Imperia was the scene of a stabbing, this time in broad daylight. Yesterday afternoon a young man, probably under the influence of alcohol, stabbed a Bengali trader in the head and body in his gift shop in via XX Settembre, in the historic heart of Porto Maurizio. The shopkeeper, help from the White Cross and the 118 automedica, he was accompanied to the emergency room in yellow code, the one of medium severity.
The attacker then chased and wounded a friend of the Bengali, then ended up in the hospital always in yellow code: fortunately his conditions are not serious. The two injured are 18 and 26 years old.
The stabber was stopped by the Imperia carabinieri shortly after the attacks. Apparently he had a history of fighting.
