At the end of the Canadian Grand Prix, it is already time for Pirelli to think about the next trips that Formula 1 will have to face in a particularly busy month of July.
The Milanese manufacturer today announced the choice of compounds that teams and drivers will have available for the appointments of Austria (10 July), France (24 July) and Hungary (31 July) with the Hungaroring race which will represent, as usual, also the last one before the well-deserved summer break.
On the Red Bull Ring track – which will also host the second sprint race of the season after the Imola one – Pirelli will provide the three softest compounds in the range:
Pirelli PZero White Hard C3
Pirelli PZero Yellow Medium C4
Pirelli PZero Red Soft C5
For the French Grand Prix, the Milanese manufacturer will go down a gradation, starting from C2 to get to C4:
Pirelli PZero White Hard C2
Pirelli PZero Yellow Medium C3
Pirelli PZero Red Soft C4
Same choice of compounds also for the last appointment before the summer break, that of the Hungaroring:
Pirelli PZero White Hard C2
Pirelli PZero Yellow Medium C3
Pirelli PZero Red Soft C4
As seen in the last few rounds, there will also be no compound jump for the round of Austria, France and Hungary, as was the case in Australia when Pirelli made available the C2, C3 and C5 compounds.
We remind you that for the next Silverstone round, which will take place over the weekend from 1 to 3 July, Pirelli has chosen the hardest compounds in the range, namely C1, C2 and C3.
