Pokémon Sword & Shield debuted almost 3 years ago and although it received DLC in 2020, the title no longer offers new content. However, that does not mean that the title no longer has surprises for its players, as this weekend shows, that the title is inviting fans of the series to return to it.
As we have told you on a few occasions, Pokémon Sword & Shield hold in-game events that offer players surprises in the form of appearances in the Wild Area or distribution of rare Pokémon. Well, this time the title is attracting the attention of the players because 2 events coincided.

Battle Urshifu for a limited time in Pokémon Sword & Shield
The first is related to the Wild Area, which for the first time makes it possible for players to find Gigantamax Urshifu (Rough Style and Flow Style) in 5-star dens.
Unfortunately, players defeating him won’t be able to catch them, so the only way to get both is through 2 save files, because only one can be selected in an adventure.
However, there is good news for the trainers, since when they are victorious they will be able to take very rare and difficult items in the adventure. On the reward list are Apricorns of all 7 types (guaranteed reward), as well as Choice Band, 50% chance to find Max Honey, and 6 Exp. Candy L, 6 Candy XL, 5 Armorite Ore, 2 Dynite Ore, and 1 Max Mushroom. We remind you that 3 Max Mushrooms are necessary to be able to give the Gigantamax factor to a Pokémon capable of reaching this stage.
Please note that you have to connect the console to the Nintendo Switch and the game to receive the news from the Wild Area. Once this is done, the pillars of light in the dens will begin to appear with the Pokémon featured in the event. Of course, you must hurry because the event ends on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at 4:59 PM (Mexico City time).
