Luka Jovic will spend the new season away from home again: Real Madrid will most likely loan him out to Fiorentina.
To say that Luka Jovic didn’t do himself any favors by moving to Real in the summer of 2019 would probably be an understatement. Although he has been in the limelight for a while and has signed a well-paid contract – the transfer was by no means worth it in terms of play.
And neither for Jovic himself, nor for the royals. Also with regard to the new season is not planned with him. However, since a sale is unlikely, not least because of the necessary, probably larger cut in salary, the focus is on a loan.
This time the striker will be drawn to a new league for him – Serie A. Sport1Reporter Patrick Berger reports that a loan to AC Florence is imminent. Sources close to the player have confirmed this.
There are already advanced talks between the parties. Although the deal is not yet complete, both clubs and the player himself assume that the loan change will take place.
It should be a temporary change for one, secure the next season. There is no mention of a possible purchase option. However, such an option would also be unlikely because a permanent transfer would be anything but easy to do. Florence would hardly have the financial capacity to handle the package of transfer fee and salary.
