On a Saturday with little football, Santos and Bragantino ended the night with a very pleasant game in Vila Belmiro in the rain.
More with the ball, the team from the interior almost completely succumbed to the beach efficiency, with two goals from Léo Baptistão, at 16 and 35 minutes, the second in a brilliant move by the jewel Marcos Leonardo.
It is true that João Paulo had done at least two miracles to avoid the visiting goal, something that was not possible in the 46′, when a poorly relieved ball in the area was left for Hyoran to decrease: 2 to 1.
The first half was as suggestive as, pardon the redundancy, second even better, or at least as good as it was.
But it started better for Braga and worse for Santos who soon lost Baptistão, injured, in addition to João Paulo receiving the 3rd yellow card to miss the team in the classic against Corinthians, Saturday, in Itaquera.
Soon, however, Santos rebalanced things to maintain the place it now occupies, at least until tomorrow, in the G4.
But, at 25′, from outside the area, a bomb from Luan Cândido equalized 2 to 2 and left Vila afflicted.
More nervous was coach Fabian Bustos who soon got a red card, another absence in Itaquera.
For the coastal city of Santos, the temperature of 18º was low, as well as in the silent stands with only 11 thousand fans, although on the pitch the thermal sensation was 30º.
The tie kept Santos in 5th and Bragantino in 7th places, both with 18 points. Between the two, São Paulo, which will only play on Monday, at Morumbi, but against Palmeiras.
Apparently the result was worse for the host, but, given the circumstances of the second half, not so much, because Braga looked closer to the third goal.
It just looked.
The tie prevailed and the crowd booed Santos.
