Genoa – Coaches with a Sampdoria past as footballers. In Italy and around the world there are many, from national to lower categories. They are the “AllenaDoria”, former Sampdoria who, once they hung up their boots, chose the path of the bench. The first that comes to mind, Sampdoria legend, is Roberto Mancinia surprise European champion one summer ago and now in his most difficult moment as a coach, of tiring reconstruction after the World Cup failure.
