Leao’s contract expires in 2024, it is normal for Milan to want to protect itself by armoring its champion: Rafa’s performances, however, suggest that the agreement can be found by putting on the plate no less than 5-6 million euros, including salary and bonuses. The case of compensation to Lille (Leao was sentenced to pay 20 million) has postponed any negotiations on the renewal, nor in this sense has it helped the imminent change of ownership of the club.
