A story that has rocked the whole country in the last few days and which is destined to be talked about again, due to the macabre details that continue to emerge.
It was last Monday morning when the carabinieri of Castelfranco Emilia they received a call from a man, who confessed to killing her wife and daughter.
The man on the phone was Salvatore Montefusco, 69-year-old from the place, who a few hours before the trial that was supposed to end the marriage with Gabriela Trandafir, decided to end the life of her and her 22-year-old daughter instead. He did it by shooting several rifle shots.
After committing the double femicide, still stained with blood, he went to a country bar and it is from there that he made the call to the military to report himself.
The mistreatment of Salvatore Montefusco
Over the investigationsalready initiated by the prosecutor of Modena, it emerged that the 47-year-old woman had reported her husband several times, the one who eventually killed her.
The first complaint, for mistreatmenthad arrived in July 2021. Then another in August and a third in December.
The court, however, had asked for archiving of the case, since, as the lawyer of the two victims said, according to them there had been no beatings.
In the’separation hearing that there should have been Tuesday, these complaints would also have been discussed and Salvatore Montefusco probably feared that in the separation he would lose the ownership of his house.
