The 2022 President’s Cup group stage has started to be held in four cities. Some of the top teams got the results as expected, while some still need to improve their performance.
Here is a recap of the 11-14 June 2022 President’s Cup.
PSIS Semarang 6 – 1 Persita Tangerang
PSIS Semarang appeared dominant against Persita Tangerang. Six goals from PSIS were scored by Oktafianus Fernando, Carlos Fortes, Taisei Marukawa, Hari Nur Yulianto, and Rachmad Hidayat. Meanwhile, a consolation goal from Persita was scored by Ramiro Fergonzi.
PSS Sleman 0 – 0 Persis Solo
Persis Solo showed a strong defense against PSS Sleman. The match was tight, but neither team was able to get a goal throughout the game.
Borneo FC 1 – 0 Madura United
Borneo FC performed solidly in their first match in the group stage. The only goal from Borneo FC in this match was scored by Jonathan Bustos.
Barito Putera 1 – 1 RANS Nusantara FC
Barito Putera controlled the start of this match, and managed to score a goal in the 3rd minute through Rafael Silva. However, RANS Nusantara FC managed to get up to equalize thanks to a goal from Septian Bagaskara.

Persib Bandung 1 – 1 Bali United
Bali United managed to steal the lead in the early part of the match through a goal from Novri Setiawan. But Persib Bandung showed their mental strength and managed to equalize through a goal from David Da Silva.
Bhayangkara FC 1 – 1 Persebaya Surabaya
Persebaya Surabaya managed to take the lead in this match through a goal from Ahmad Nufiandani. But they were unable to maintain their lead, and had to concede a goal from Anderson Salles.
Arema FC 0 – 1 PSM Makassar
Arema FC was not able to give their best performance in this match. PSM Makassar won the match thanks to a single goal from Wiljan Pluim.
Persik Kediri 1 – 0 Persikabo 1973
With a solid performance, Persik Kediri managed to achieve their victory in this match. Joanderson scored the winning goal from Persik Kediri in the 5th minute
