Double femicide of Castelfranco: Gabriele had denounced Salvatore Montefusco three times for mistreatment and persecutory acts
Details continue to emerge that could direct the investigations into the double femicide that took place in Castelfranco Emilia on Monday morning. Gabriela Trandafir, the 47-year-old woman killed with her daughter Renata Alexandra by her partner Salvatore Montefuscohe had reported him three times for domestic violence.
A story that has shaken an entire community and that does nothing but lengthen the chilling trail of blood of femicides in Italy. On Monday morning, Salvatore Montefusco, a 69-year-old retiree, has shot to death his wife Gabriela Trandafir and her 22-year-old daughter Renata Alexandraand then constituted himself to the Carabinieri.
A senseless gesture that came at the end of the umpteenth family quarrel faced in that house in Castelfranco Emilia which in fact was often the scene of moments of high tension.
According to the first reconstructions, it would seem that the man did not accept the separation imminent from his wife and above all the possibility that the family home, the same one in which the tragedy took place, could end up in the name of the woman and her daughter.

The investigations of the Modena prosecutor are continuing and the intention is to clarify both as much as possible dynamic of the double femicide, both of the motive which stirred the wrath of Salvatore Montefusco.
In the last few hours it has emerged that Gabriela, in the past, had reported three times the one who later became his killer.
The first complaint, for mistreatmenthad arrived in July 2021. Then an integration the following month and a third complaint in December of the same year.
In addition to the complaints of ill-treatment, a proceeding for persecutory actsin which his wife had reported the installation of a device gps on his car by Montefusco.
For both acts, the pm eventually had decided for an archiving. Gabriela, for her part, through her lawyer had opposed this decision and had every intention of moving forward.
It would also seem that yesterday it should have been held another hearing, in which it would be talked about and discussed the three complaints made by Gabriela against Salvatore, as well as the three complaints made by the man to the woman. The latter have been defined by the Trandafir lawyer as “instrumental”. The hearing was postponed to next 5 July.
