In the report, the woman would describe in detail how he had to undergo sexual acts against her will, which according to the Criminal Code are considered rape. De Telegraaf does not want to specifically report what is in the report so as not to harm an objective investigation by the police.
The woman who filed the report is said to have indicated that the previously made reports about sexually transgressive behavior by the singer during the period that he played in the musical were a reason for her to now go to the police.
Danny’s lawyer, Royce de Vries, has since let it be known that Danny “explicitly denies” that he is guilty of criminal offences. “The client is now aware of the identity of the declarant. This confirms to him that the allegation is unfounded. The client can substantiate this and will also be happy to do this with the designated parties. The client is dismayed about these unjust accusations and is considering the taking legal action.”
Danny was already in the news in April of this year because of a detailed report of sexually transgressive behaviour. Yvonne Coldeweijer accused him of using hard drugs and cheating. A me-too situation would also have occurred. Danny said at the time that he was very “disturbed” by the allegations and denied everything.
