Ginevra Olivetti Rason’s mother had sued the doctor and the ASL, but the Court decided that they are not responsible

In search of answers, on what had been the causes of the death of her daughter, the mom of Geneva had filed one civil case towards those professional doctors who, according to her, by acting negligently, had caused her death through negligence.
The lady sued the cardiologist, the ASL Toscana Centro and the Fanfani Snc Institute and had claim for compensation of at least 1.7 million euros.
The allegations of the Geneva mother’s lawyer were referred to thewrong dosage of some medications and the lack of advice to go to hospital on the evening of death, as regards the cardiologist. Consequently also the ASL Toscana Centro, where Dr. Zuppiroli carried out his activities.
The Court of Florence, after the necessary investigations, decided that there are no civil liabilities by the professionals mentioned. The crime has lapsed and, moreover, the mother of Geneva will have to pay all legal fees of the parties involved. There is talk of a figure of 120 thousand euros.
