“The Disciplinary Commission informs that, based on the provisions of articles 84 and 85 of the Sanctions Regulations, it was decided to open an Investigation Procedure against Player Nahuel Guzmán for the events that occurred in the match played on May 21, 2022 corresponding to the Second Leg Semifinal of the 2022 Liga MX Closing Tournament between the Clubes Tigres de la UANL vs. Atlas,” the commission said in a statement.
In the following days it will be known what will be the sanction that the Disciplinary Commission will impose on Guzmán for his comments after the elimination in the semifinals.
