The announcement of The Kill Room dates back to Oscar night when, at the Dolby Theater, we witnessed the reunion of a part of the Pulp Fiction cast. In fact, the new film sees one of its protagonists Uma Thurman and Samuel L. Jacksonwho will return to collaborate after already acting together for Tarantino in Pulp Fiction. However, a new entry in the cast has recently been announced: Maya Hawkedaughter of Uma Thurman.
The Kill Room, what is it about?
The Kill Room looks like a movie comedy thriller which follows the story of a hitman, accidentally mistaken for an avant-garde artist in the midst of a money laundering attempt organized by the boss (played by Samuel L. Jackson), together with an art dealer (Uma Thurman).

The Kill Room is directed by Nicol Paonewhile the screenplay was written by Jonathan Jacobson. In the stellar cast that already saw the presence of Uma Thurman and Samuel L. Jacksonthere will also be Debi Mazar, Larry Pine and Joe Manganiello (the latter in the role of the assassin).
Next to them is also added Maya Hawkethe daughter of Uma Thurman. The Kill Room represents the first collaboration between mother and daughterafter that Maya Hawke he has already acted alongside his father Ethan Hawke in The Good Lord Bird.
The Kill Room it will not be the only project in which we will see soon Maya Hawke. The actress, in fact, known in particular for the role of Robin in Stranger Things, will soon return in the fourth season of the beloved series. Netflixof which the first part will be available on the streaming platform from May 27 but of which we have already written a preview review. The actress, regarding her character in Stranger Things 4, said:
“She used her wits to help fight the Russians last season, and I think you will see her learn a lot about what’s happening to Hawkins and use her brilliant mind to tackle those things as well.”
