No Man’s Sky’s redemption story doesn’t stop. Hello Games announced the new expedition for its game, which will turn it into a kind of roguelike.
No Man’s Sky’s “Leviathan”, arises as a joke from the game community which said that space whales were missing and these are what it brings to the game in a new way. Along with that, it is presented as a new experience to play, close to the roguelike.
“Leviathan is very different from anything we’ve done before,” says the press release. “He is more like a roguelike, with players stuck in a time loop. Players start an expedition together and each time they die they lose their progress, but help the community try to break free from this loop together.
