We get quite interesting news from Masahiro Sakurai’s official Twitter account, since it was the Japanese himself who confirmed a recent meeting with his colleagues at HAL Laboratory, which is generating a tremendous wave of rumors and has raised the hype of the community surprisingly.
Will a new game be announced soon?
As you will surely remember, the creative has already finished his last job in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and took a well-deserved vacation period. Now, everything indicates that he is already looking for his next project and news about it has just been known.
According to a message written by Sakurai himself on his social networks, he recently had an online meeting with the HAL Laboratory team, a company with which he collaborated more than 20 years ago.
Here you can see it:
I had an online meeting with my former colleagues at HAL Laboratory.
It’s been almost 20 years since I left HAL Laboratory, but the relationship and glue at that time are exactly the same. It’s as if I had met yesterday.
It was fun.— Masahiro Sakurai / Masahiro Sakurai (@Sora_Sakurai) May 25, 2022
