The Swedish studio seems to anticipate a new horror game.
After shelving the Little Nightamares series after its second installment, the Swedish team at Tarsier Studios, owned by the Embracer Group, seems to be already working on their next project. At least that is what appears to be anticipated through their social networks and it paints the thing really well. It seems to be a new horror game.
Through its official Twitter account, Tarsier Studios has published a small teaser of what seems to be his new project Developing. We can hardly count a few conceptual arts featuring a cabin, an abandoned car on a highway, and a monstrous creature on top of a building. All with the characteristic visual style of Tarsier and music with a horror atmosphere, of course. Check out:

“We have been busy,” says the Swedish studio, but for now has not shared more details about this promising project. Little Nightmares and its sequel stood out for a grotesque and terrifying art section of oppressive atmosphere and an ingenious proposal of platforms and puzzles. We will see what this new game is about, although at the moment there is no indication of when it could be presented. Maybe at the Summer Game Fest? We will have to wait a few weeks to verify it.

New studios and games from Embracer Group
Tarsier Studios has been owned by the Embracer Group since 2019, just like many other independent studios with which the Swedish holdin has been made in recent years. His latest acquisition was Square Enix’s western studios and licenses, including teams like Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal, and games like Tomb Raider, Deus Ex, Thief or Legacy of Kain. It is one of the largest companies in the sector in Europe, we will see if it manages to provide sufficient support and financing to the next projects of its studies.
