Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus re-elected Director General of the World Health Organization. The mandate was confirmed during the 75th World Health Assembly, underway in Geneva. Tedros, first elected WHO CEO in 2017, was the only candidate and will remain in office for another 5 years. The new term will start on August 16 this year.
