Sebastien Ogier is back in action in the WRC Rally World Championship for the Rally of Kenya, 6th round of the 2022 World Championship. The French, eight times rally champion, will therefore get back in his Toyota from 23 to 26 June, as his team announced via twitter (below): “We will have Ogier with us again at the Safari Rally for his return to Kenya to defend his crown!”.

For the French champion, who is distilling his commitment to the world championship, this will be his third rally of the season after Monte-Carlo, where he finished second, and the Rally of Portugal in which he arrived late: Ogier will still be accompanied by Benjamin Veillas as a navigator.
the 24 hours of le mans

Winner of his 8th title last year, Ogier has decided to do only a few rallies this season, focusing on his participation in the 24 Hours of Le Mans on 11 and 12 June. Kenya will be the sixth round of a season so far dominated by the young Finn Kalle Rovanperä, winner of Sweden, Croatia and Portugal. Before the African stage, the WRC will travel the streets of Sardinia for the Rally d’Italia, from 2 to 5 June.
