Those were really busy hours at home Paris Saint-Germain where on the weekend Kylian Mbappé announced together with president Al Khelaifi that he had renewed his contract with the team. No Real Madrid as it seemed to have been happening for weeks if not months now. The forward has decided to stay in France by choosing the love for his “home”. A decision, that of the renewal, received with great joy but as much surprise by his teammates as confirmed by PSG defender Presnel Kimpembe.
The player, guest of the charity event “Integration Heroes Match” in progress in Milan, made some statements to the microphones of SkySport about the renewal of the French star. “Mbappe’s renewal? We didn’t know anything, we found out on TV,” he admitted Kimpembe. “We are very happy to have him with us also for the next seasons”. A brief passage also on a face definitely known to Italy: “Verratti? He’s a genius”, ruled the defender.
