The final phase of the Primavera 1 championship starts in the afternoon at the Ricci stadium in Sassuolo: it starts at 6 pm with Atalanta-Juventus, a match valid for the first round. The second match of the first round will instead see Cagliari face Sampdoria tomorrow at 5pm. In the first round matches there will be no overtime: in the event of a tie at the end of 90 minutes, the best-ranked team in the regular season will access the semifinals (Atalanta fourth, Juve fifth, Cagliari third, Sampdoria sixth).
The semifinals will see Roma, who finished the regular season in the lead, face the winner of Atalanta-Juventus on May 27 at 18, again in Sassuolo, while Inter, who finished in second place, will face the winner of Cagliari- Sampdoria on May 28th at 5pm. Extra time will be played in the semifinal in the event of a tie at the end of 90 minutes; in the event of a further tie there will be no penalty kicks, but the best-ranked team in the league will enter the final (31 May at 20.30 at the Mapei Stadium in Reggio Emilia). The holder of the championship is Empoli.
