THE GP Days were a long motorcycle-aeronautical weekend, three days full of events that began on Friday 13 May in the Carignano district, a few steps from the monument dedicated to Giorgio Parodi, Genoese aviator and entrepreneurand from the notary’s office building in which the founding deed of the motorcycle company was signed on 15 March 1921.
A weekend that also saw the opening of the Palazzi dei Rolli, several parades of historic and modern motorcycles, the Mondo Moto Guzzi review, the opportunity to try the Air Force flight simulator, a prestigious gala dinner at the Diocesan Museum , a truly unique exhibition of rare models explained to the public, even the Frecce Tricolori and the race of one of the very rare examples of the eight-cylinder from Carcano: in the dock, where the first Moto Guzzi registered office was. To inspire it all the granddaughter of Parodi, Mrs. Elena Bagnasco.
M.ondo Moto Guzzi 2022 welcomed fans of the brand with stands dedicated to travel, mechanics and the meaning of being a Guzzi fan. For Genoa it was a great opportunity to relaunch and “return to the track” after two years of pandemic that have deeply affected the economy and tourism; for Guzzi bikers the opportunity to meet many friends and admire rare and beautiful motorcycles.
