New details emerged about the tragic death of the 13-month-old girl who fell from the hotel balcony
Sad new details have emerged on the affair of the little girl just 13 months who fell from the balcony while on vacation with her parents. Unfortunately, due to the violent impact with the ground, there was nothing for her to do when the doctors arrived. She died instantly.
The whole community is currently in mourning for the loss suffered. The mayor has written several messages on social media, to show affection and closeness to the family.
The small one Giulia Maiano was on vacation in Sharm El Skeik, together with his father Silvio and his mother Veronica. They were in the resort Nubian Village.
The purpose of these people was to spend time together, full of fun and lightheartedness. In fact, up to that moment for them, everything was proceeding for the better and nothing unusual had happened.
However, the drama unfolded on the evening of Wednesday 18 May. The parents with their little girl were al restaurant of the hotel which is located on the third floor. Giulia was in her father’s arms.
At some point though, when they came out in the Terrace, the unthinkable happened. Because of a abrupt movement of the little girl, the man was unable to hold her back. For this it is precipitated from the third floor of the hotel, losing his life practically on the spot.
13-month-old girl who died falling from the balcony: the investigation
The sad news has only been spread in the last few hours. In the meantime, the rest of the child’s family members went to Egypt pending all necessary procedures for to report in Italy the little body.
In addition, the local authorities are also carrying out all the investigations of the case. The mayor of Pianella, the town where the family lives, upset by the loss in an interview with the newspaper The Pescarahe has declared:
We hoped until the end that the fact could be denied or reduced, but unfortunately this was not the case. The community clings to the pain of all the families involved in this terrible tragedy, which is a collective tragedy. We were deeply impressed.
