Dear energy, at stake is not only the competitiveness of the industry but the entire chain of consumption
There scarcity of raw materialsand the consequent ones price increasesthe growth of energy prices and the criticality in the handling of goods are putting 33,000 companies at risk Italian. Data that suggests that our country, not to mention the internal world, is taking great strides towards one severe crisis economic and social.
At stake is not only the competitiveness industry because, in this new global scenario, all the realities of the consumer chains are suffering, from the first to the last. It is important to emphasize the fragility of the Italian situationbecause our country in all respects lives off SMEs. Small and medium-sized enterprises represent the backbone of Italy’s industrial structure and ensure employment and redistribution of wealth. If the SMEs collapse, our entire economy risks collapsing.
I am Andrea Pasini a business owner of Trezzano Sul Naviglio and I would like to ask politics as an entrepreneur of a small and medium-sized company that a series of short and medium-term interventions be urgently implemented to ensure survival of the productive fabric of our country. Together we can identify important areas on which to act, generating cost reductions useful for supporting the accounts of a strategic sector of the Italian economy.
It is essential that at this moment the realities of the territory are confronted with the government to highlight the precariousness of the current situation and, above all, to identify effective support actions that can be implemented in a reasonably short time. You have to start a extensive comparison as soon as possible to analyze the market dynamics in which companies operate in this historical moment and identify the better solutions to face a very serious emergency, which can jeopardize the future of fundamental components of the Italian economy and the competitiveness of our country.
There are many proposals that we can advance to our institutions and that could promptly bring relief to thousands of realities. Among this are the rethinking of VAT rates on consumer products, the control of the cost of energy and the stabilization of fuel pricesi for road transport.
If at least these were to be carried out urgently proposals at least at the moment it would give a little bit of oxygen to small and medium-sized Italian companies. I am convinced that the government is giving urgent and concrete answers to safeguard companies in crisis and consequently safeguard employment.
