P.etrux recounts the terrible accident – the worst of his career – in the USA during the second round of the AMA Championship (the equivalent of our Superbike). After crossing the finish line in third position, he crashed at 280 times to avoid another driver and was left without help on the track for two minutes.
Here is his terrible story posted on Instagram:
“Just to let you know, I crashed at 280km / h on the finish line which is on a sixth full bend to avoid an opponent of mine. I knocked out three advertising panels, I have several burns and bruises and a deep cut to my ankle with five points. I rolled over a hundred meters, one of the worst falls of my career. I was lying on the ground for more than two minutes with the noise of the motorcycles passing by without anyone helping me, until I got up alone and I walked to the medical center. “
