Ducati centaur Pecco Bagnaia commented on the decision to withdraw Valentino Rossi’s number: “Nobody would have chosen him”
Pecco Bagnaia agrees with MotoGp’s choice to collect Valentino Rossi’s number 46: “I think that if we continue like this we will no longer have numbers to choose from, but in such a situation I think it’s right – these are the words reported by Motorsport – Nobody would have chosen 46, it’s a huge responsibility to drive with that number, so it’s okay to take it off. “
Joan Mir is more skeptical, partly reflecting the opinion of Valentino himself: “If I were Valentino, if a young boy wants to race with the 46 it would be fine with me”. The retirement ceremony will take place at Mugello on Saturday 29 May, on the occasion of the Italian GP weekend.
