Although Rick mainly wants to know how his former lover is doing, Melvin – who according to Rick was quite jealous – still has a number of questions. “I found it annoying that he saw me as a ‘moppy’ and not as that sexy hunk, as he always called other people,” he says before the conversation.
Rick also wants answers to a number of questions, such as who told his parents that he made porn films. According to the Prince Charming-Star must have been his ex.
In addition, Rick would like to clarify a few things. He regrets that he was less understanding towards his ex seven years ago, and only now realizes that it must not have been easy for him because of his work. Rick no longer works as a porn star, but he still wants to apologize.
Melvin accepts it with both hands: “Of course I would have liked that recognition if it was still during our relationship. (…) If I see him like this, then I could see a next appointment, I think we can both would be open to that.”
