A compensation of 2500 euros for three half-days of work for Dutch celebrities in the hospital. 250 euros per delivery of The smartest person and an invoice of 750 euros per delivery of Ranking The Stars: some amounts are known about the fees that celebrities receive for a television performance. Exact amounts are not discussed, because that is not chic.
But Dries Roelvink does want to explain how he ‘calculates’. “Suppose I can’t perform for a month because of a program, then I miss 25 jobs for which I would otherwise receive 2700 euros,” explains the singer. That equates to an amount of 67,500 euros per month.
Dries continues: “Dave does fewer performances, but asks a little more per performance, because he has an additional drummer and a saxophonist. So if we participate in a program together and lose a ton of turnover as a result… Then of course we have to go there. something to see in the compensation.”
This does not mean, however, that there must always be hard bucks against it. Dries does not mind adding water to the wine if he is enthusiastic about something. “I like to cook, so for a part in a cooking show I would charge a lot less. And if they ask me for The Best Singers, then I would, so to speak, do that for nothing. Because I like to do it, of course, but also because a hit can arise just like that. That’s worth something too.”
If Dries is not singing or playing sports, he is playing for RTL Boulevard. For example, on King’s Day he handed out ‘Boulevlaaien’ in Amsterdam.
