May and June will be very hot months for the future of Roma. In the next few days, the Giallorossi will find out in which fraction of Europe they will play next season, between a qualification to be won on the last day of Serie A and a Conference League final to be played in Tirana against Feyenoord. In the meantime, however, the Roman club does not take its gaze away from the market, which in the coming weeks could grant Mourinho the much requested gift from a year to today.
As reported by the Corriere dello Sport indeed, Tiago Pinto seems to be in pole position for Sassuolo’s Maxime Lopez. The French midfielder, who would appreciate and not a little the destination, has conquered Mourinho thanks to the qualities displayed during this season. The goal of the Giallorossi management is therefore to secure that director insistently asked by the Portuguese coach for months and the figures of the deal could smile at the cause.
Sassuolo seems to have asked for his midfielder a figure of around 15 million euros to free your athlete. A not insurmountable obstacle for the Friedkins, who could lower the demands of the green-and-blacks giving up 30% on the resale of Frattesi and inserting some young players in the negotiation. From the point of view of the contract intended for the player there should not be many problems: Maxime Lopez currently earns 600,000 euros net, a base that could allow the company to increase the perceived part by a lot without incurring in expenses that would make your head spin (also simply doubling the current contract could be enough to positively close the negotiations).
At the moment there is no agreement between the two parties. Roma and Sassuolo will update again after next Wednesday’s Conference final, when the Giallorossi’s season is officially over. The chances of seeing Maxime Lopez at the court of the wolf are high, also considering the player’s satisfaction, but everything will be decided when only the desks will be the protagonists.
