Raven Software and Activision decided to take advantage of the potential of the new generation to offer up to 120 fps in Call of Duty: Warzone. This option was first activated for Xbox Series X | S and, months later, it came to PlayStation 5.
However, support has been disabled for quite some time on Microsoft consoles, as there were issues that forced the studio to lock the game to 60fps. This has been going on since December, so players can’t wait for the feature to return for the best possible experience.
The studio is aware of this and finally gave an update on it. Fortunately, there is good news, as it has already confirmed when it will re-enable 120 fps on Xbox Series X|S.

Raven Software informed its community that it will soon resolve the issues that have plagued Battle Royale on Microsoft consoles. As you can imagine, the situation is complicated, so they have needed several months of work to solve it.
We now know that 120fps support on Xbox Series X|S will return in a matter of days. It will be reactivated with the release of the Mid-Season Update, which will be available for download sometime next week.
It is important to remember that in order to take advantage of this improvement, it is necessary to have a compatible display or monitor and the use of HDMI 2.1. Also, some simple adjustments to the title are required.
“We are excited to share that starting with next week’s mid-season patch, players on Xbox Series consoles will once again be able to enjoy Warzone with 120Hz support. We hope this, along with many other exciting updates, will make the Caldera experience even more enjoyable!” the studio confirmed.
