After 13 long years, the sad news has arrived: the agents have found the remains of Brittanee Dexel, the 17-year-old disappeared
He was supposed to spend a simple vacation with his friends, but instead for the parents of Brittanee Dexel has become a real nightmare. Traces of the 17-year-old were lost on April 25, 2009 and the turning point came only in these hours, 13 years after the incident.
Mom and dad have always hoped to be able to hug her againbut their hopes have now vanished into thin air after the FBI’s discovery.
Brittanee had to do one break from studying together with some friends. In fact they had gone to Myrtle BeachSouth Carolina. They had to spend their time fun and carefree.
However, from the 25 April of the girl had been completely lost. Her friends, having no more news of her, reported her disappearance to the police and consequently, searches they left promptly.
For many years they have followed different tracks, but the decisive turning point came only on May 4th. Thanks to some investigations conducted by FBI agents. A man already known to law enforcement, called Raymond Douglas Moodyhe was 62 years old arrested.
The cops found the remains of the girl in a wooded area, which is approx 50 km from the place where her friends last saw her. The gentleman is accused of her murder and the concealment of the body.

The agents were able to trace her, thanks to adental impression and DNA examination. The parents in fact, have always hoped for a happy ending, but unfortunately on this occasion did not arrive. Heartbroken, they declared:
Today is the beginning of a new chapter. Brittanee’s quest has now become Brittanee’s quest for justice.
Many friends, family, but also people outside the family are trying to show closeness and affection to the girl’s family. Knowing that searches ended with a such excruciating outcomefor them it is terrible.
