The months of May, June and August are the moments of the grand tours on the cycling calendar. This year, especially Spain has a Dutch touch with the start in Utrecht. This makes Utrecht the only city in the Netherlands that has already hosted all three Grand Tours. A good reason to also organize a tour in honor of all the Grand Tours with the name Cycling Trilogy, of which we are media partner.
These cycling tours will take place around the period of the accompanying Grand Tour. This starts on May 22 with the Classico Giro Utrecht, which will of course have an Italian touch. You will see this reflected in, for example, the catering and music that will be at the event.
On July 3rd it will be a French party during the Tour d’Utrecht and the highlight will be La Vuelta Holanda on August 14th. This is of course dominated by the Vuelta, which will start five days later in Utrecht.
In addition to Utrecht, a tour will also be organized in Breda on 14 August and that is no coincidence either. The finish of the third and last stage on Dutch soil is Breda. If you complete all three tours, a pair of limited edition Cycling Trilogy socks from Sockeloen will be waiting for you.
