Vico Glam with metallic coating
Whether Glam is an abbreviation of ‘Glamorous’ I don’t know, but with the shiny appearance it could be if you ask me. The bottle cage comes in four different colours, all of which are finished with a metallic coating. In the photos you can see the red, gray and blue color and it will also be available in gold. The glossy coating means that the bottle cages have a different color from every angle.
The bottle cages are made of plastic reinforced with fiberglass. This should ensure a strong bottle cage, in which the bottle remains firmly in place. The holder clamps the bottle higher than previous bottle holders and that should ensure that it does not slip out, but is still easy to grab. According to Elite itself, this holder can therefore also be used in off-road disciplines.
The bottle cage weighs 29 grams and has slots for mounting. This allows you to easily attach it to different positions in your frame. The price of a bottle cage is € 49.99 quite firm, but for that you have a lightweight bottle cage with cool looks.
