The two McLaren team drivers remember their most extravagant experiences during the holidays. Rooms turned upside down and noises: Daniel and Lando did not stand out as ideal room neighbors
Daniel Ricciardo and Lando Norris are a guarantee of performance in F1. McLaren is pampering its duo of drivers, formed in 2021. The greatest satisfaction certainly remains the double win at Monza in the Italian GP last season, with the 32-year-old Australian ahead of his young teammate. While the two seem manageable on the track, the celebrations outside the races remain problematic due to their tendency to overdo it. From rooms turned upside down to calls for noises: Ricciardo and Norris have an unenviable repertoire.
Daniel is known for his pranks and fun nature. The gags during the interviews are never lacking. However, at times, the Australian gets carried away by the euphoria of the moment. During an event at the McLaren and Hilton hotels, Ricciardo told a background, which was then reported by the English newspaper Sun: “Once, during the festivities, I didn’t just destroy the room I was staying in. I did more: I threw the whole floor away ”.
Norris has been no less annoying to neighbors on other occasions. The Englishman, in turn, recalled a party interrupted by the hotel staff where he was staying: “We were kicked out of the pool because we were misbehaving. Not just me, everyone in the group I was in ”. However, the shouting continued: “We went up to the rooms and had a nice party. I apologize if there have been any disturbed people on the upper and lower floors. I can only say it was a lot of fun ”. So being close to Lando and Daniel’s room can be a very complicated experience.
