Boeing’s Starliner capsule was launched on Thursday night (19) from a United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas V rocket. The launch took place from a platform at the United States Space Force Station at Cape Canaveral, Florida.
The launch took place on schedule, at 19:54 (Brasilia time), kicking off the orbital flight test, which is crucial for the mission. Starliner separated from the rocket’s upper stage just under 15 minutes after launch. 16 minutes later, the capsule began the process of orbital insertion, which takes 45 seconds.
