T.rento – The owner and the two mechanics of the dealership where a motorcycle had been purchased involved, nine months ago, in a mortal accident have been sued for multiple manslaughter.
The facts date back to August 2021, when 51-year-old Sandro Prada and his 13-year-old daughter Elisa they lost their lives: they were going down a hairpin bend and the vehicle ended up in a cliff, where the bodies were later found.
Rushed to the place to carry out the necessary surveys, the Carabinieri of the Borgo Valsugana Company noticed some inconsistencies in dynamics what had happened and arranged one technical expertise on the vehicle.
The results of the investigations revealed that the bike had been assembled loosely and that the accident was attributable to one of the bolts that tighten the front brake caliper to the foot of the fork: it had been incorrectly mounted coming out of its seat and causing the braking to malfunction and therefore the fall.
