
(ANSA-AFP) – WASHINGTON, MAY 19 – The American aerospace giant Boeing has launched the Starliner capsule, the space taxi that should alternate with the Space X Dragon shuttle to contribute to the alternation of astronauts ahead on the International Space Station (Iss) . The new test flight (OFT-2) took off from Kennedy Space Center in Florida at 18:54 local time, 00:54 in Italy. There is no crew on board: in the captain’s seat sits a test dummy, nicknamed “Rosie the Riveter”, the cultural icon of the United States created during World War II. (ANSA-AFP).
